Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

The Iota chapter of AOII has been around for over 100 years, even in the same house on the Illinois campus. We are a vital part of the Greek history and community here on campus. The Iota chapter consists of an incredibly diverse, strong, driven, and influential group of women. Our chapter consists of incredibly driven and influential women from all different walks of life. The diverse group of women in our sisterhood continue to amaze me everyday with their motivation for not only the chapter but for everything they do in life.Bound by our values, we all share the same vision of scholarship, involvement, philanthropy, and, most importantly, sisterhood. Over the course of the school year, we have countless events that embody the interest of the Iota chapter. In addition to AOII, our sisters strive to make a positive impact on the campus and community around us through all of the other organizations they are involved in. AOII strives to develop the strongest, classy, confident, and most important loyal women who will be successful in all aspects of their lives. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead and represent these truly beautiful, well-rounded women as their Chapter President.
